Today
Today, I meet my son
Today
Today
Today, a journey begins
Today
Today
Today, dream becomes reality
Today
Today
Today,
I meet my son, a journey begins,
dream becomes reality,
our son gains a forever family,
our son loses a foster family,
a foster family loses a child,
loss and gain, bittersweet.
Joy, sadness all wrapped in one.
Happiness, sadness,
crying of joy, crying of sadness,
parting, joining.
Change for all concerned.
A home empty, a home filled.
A empty heart, a full heart.
Emotional on so many levels for all involved.

What a beautiful post. I am so happy to see your family has grown to four. A wonderful blessing to meet not only his foster family, but his birth mother as well. I am sure that these memories will always be treasured. Thank you for sharing your journey with your LCC family.
